Last updated November 1, 2026. This policy explains what information Expired Domain Tools collects when you use expireddomaintools.com. The site is run by FourthMedia, Inc. in Toronto, Canada.
Information We Collect
- Searches. You don’t need an account to use the site. The filters you choose are sent to our server in the page address so we can show your results.
- Search limits. To protect the site from automated copying, we store a one-way scrambled version of your IP address with a count of searches per minute. It can’t be turned back into your address, and it is deleted automatically within two days.
- Saved names. Names you save with the star are stored in your browser’s local storage on your own device. They are never sent to us.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting server keeps standard access logs, including IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, for security and troubleshooting.
- Visit statistics. We count page views and record basic visit information on our own server to understand how the site is used.
Cookies
We don’t use advertising cookies. Our page view counter may set a small cookie so the same visit isn’t counted twice. Saved names use your browser’s local storage, not cookies.
Fonts and Third Parties
We don’t load fonts or other files from Google or other outside services. We don’t sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you.
How Long We Keep Information
Search limit records are deleted within two days. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting setup and then removed. Emails are kept for as long as we need them to answer you.
Your Choices
You can delete your saved names at any time by clearing your browser’s site data. To ask about any information we hold, email hello@expireddomaintools.com.
